PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY PRIOR TO BOOKING YOUR CASTLE

  

ACCESS – If you cannot supply the access required then we may not be able to deliver your inflatable and full payment will be required.  Access requirements are listed below.

  

AREA REQUIRED – We advise that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct area required for the castle booked. If it does not fit there will be no refund given, this also includes the height of the castle.

  

If the inflatable needs to be delivered via stairs we will require an additional staff member to assist in order to get the inflatable safely to the set up area, an additional fee does apply, and advise customer to let our customer service team know prior to delivery of castle..

  

You should inform the office prior to the day that there will be stairs.  Again, we may not be able to deliver your inflatable and full payment will be required if we arrive and there are stairs of which we have not been informed.

  

There should also be clear access into your backyard i.e. no hot water heaters, air conditioner etc blocking our path – Please check that you have the minimum access required between the fence and side wall of your house!!

  

Allocated parking to be arranged when the driver drops off and picks up castle (eg cars to be cleared out of drive way for driver to reverse van)

  

What is the area needed?

We ask that your measurement to be double checked as all castles are different.

We advise that it is your  responsibility to ensure that you have the correct area required for the castle booked If it does not fit there will be no refund given, We advise if the castle is going to go indoors or under an awning that height is to be measured as the castle is set up only once.

  

What surface can inflatables go on?

Grass, dirt, concrete, paving, asphalt etc – please advise at time of booking.

  

Can the inflatable be in contact with walls or trees?

No. The inflatable can suffer abrasion damage if it is in direct contact with branches or walls. When we deliver the inflatable we will place it so as to avoid contact with these damaging surfaces.

  

Who sets up the jumping castle?

The jumping castle will be set up and dismantled by a Funtime Clowns staff member.

   

Can we move the jumping castle during the hire period?

No. Please do not attempt to move the jumping castle once set up. “Penalties apply if castle is moved.” As damage to the castle may result.

  

Is power needed to operate the Jumping Castle?

YES. If your function is not at  home please double check with the venue to be sure electricity is available.

  

Is the set up time included in the hire time?

No. For example – if your booking starts at 1pm, we will have the inflatable ready before that time. On very rare occasions we may have it ready 5 minutes after your booking time. We do ask that you provide clear access to the driveway of your home as the inflatables are sometimes difficult to maneuver.

  

Do we require a Funtime Clowns Supervisor, when booking a Jumping Castle

Supervision is the key to any event or function, where amusement and equipment and children are present. Prior to each event the adult (18 years and over) entering into the hire agreement will be trained by the installer on how to supervise the jumping castle during the event and the safe operations of the jumping Castle. A supervisor is required at all times to be in attendance supervising the operation of the jumping castle.

For functions that are held in public places and are open to any member of the public (fetes, carnivals etc) Funtime Clowns will be required to provide a fully trained supervisor for the event. For private functions (such as birthday parties) held in public parks etc please contact

us on 02 9834 5921 to find out about supervising your own party.

  

How many children can use the inflatable at the one time?

Mini Castle – No more than 8 children under 6 yrs of age

Medium Castle – No more than 10 children under 10 yrs of age

Combo’s  – No more than 10 children under 12 yrs of age

But this is also subject to the children and their behavior on the castle

  

What happens if it rains on the day?

Our castles (except Mini Jump Jump) come with a permanent cover to protect the user from both sun and rain; This means you can keep having fun! In the event of strong winds or rain, Funtime Clowns reserve the right to cancel the booking if we feel safety will be compromised.

However if the weather is uncertain on the day, you are given the opportunity to cancel or proceed with the booking. If you proceed with the booking and it rains during the period of hire there will be no refunds and the castle will be dismantled immediately due to safety reasons.

  

What if I want to cancel?

A cancellation will only be accepted in writing or via email. A cancellation fee of $100.00 will apply within 5 working days from date of booking  and 100% of the total booking amount is charged after 5 working days from date of booking (This excludes Castle bookings cancelled due to wet weather). (This excludes Castle bookings cancelled due to wet weather).

If  the castle is cancelled on the day prior to the castle being delivered, due to rain or severe weather conditions a full refund will be given.

  

How is payment made and when?

Full payment must be received within 5 business days of booking. Payments can be can be made via Commonwealth Bank, PayPal, Internet Banking, VISA or MASTERCARD.

  

How long can I have the castle?

Usually 5 hour or 7 hour hire daily. Bookings within summer in a backyard can go till approximately 7.00pm. During the winter months, the days get shorter and it gets darker much earlier – bookings should be finished by 5.00pm the latest. We abide by the general rule that all bookings should finish prior to sunset which is, in fact, an Australian Amusement Association ruling for all backyard hire where we are not supervising.

  

Do you have insurance?

We wouldn’t be in business without it! We have $20,000,000 Public Liability and should you wish a copy of our Certificate of Currency, please ask your Entertainment Coordinator on booking.

  

What happens if we damage the inflatable?

If the damage is determined by us to be malicious then you will be liable to pay for all repairs and transport costs associated with having the inflatable repaired. If adults use a jumping castle that is not an adult castle, and it is damaged, then the above will also apply as these inflatables are specifically available for children only.

  

What else should I be aware of?

Please keep streamers, poppers, silly string etc away from any inflatable as they stain the vinyl. Face paint also stains the vinyl. Please make sure all children’s faces are completely dry prior to them jumping. You may also want to check that when children perspire the paint starts to run. Any streamer etc damage found on the inflatable at time of pick up or when we clean the inflatable over the seven days will result in an automatic charge of $500.00
